BOUNCING SOULS interview recap.
Journal
1 yr 5 mos ago
The interview went well, even if things did seem a little hurried. Matt P. was wearing a Rumbleseat t-shirt, which instantly became a source of embarrassment when it turned out that Chris Wollard of that band (and HOT WATER MUSIC) happened to be at the house. Matt P. instantly became "that guy" - pretty funny. Linda took photos (which you will see soon enough) and everyone was eating lollipops.
Brian and Pete talked to us about the band's 20-year history, their innovative plan for releasing music throughout '09, and much more. Expect a video teaser very soon! the interview will air in its entirety on July 24 as part of episode 34. |

Link
from myspace.com 1 yr 5 mos ago
A book by ISSUE ORIENTED host Ronen Kauffman available from Hopeless/SubCity Records.
New Brunswick, New Jersey, Goodbye is a memoir set against the New Brunswick, NJ punk and hardcore scene of the mid/late 90's. More than just an engaging personal account, it’s a story about personal growth, coming of age, and the real power of punk and hardcore. Gain an insider's look at a truly influential underground movement. "Awesome wit and a natural aptitude for storytelling... Ronen's delivery is flawless." - AMP Magazine "High fives to Ronen Kauffman for head stomping all over my pretentious attitude about what good literature should be... this book made me fall in love with punk all over again" - ScenePointBlank.com "Even the most skeptical reader is unlikely to find anything suspicious about Kauffman's sincere remembrance of what's arguably this decade's most successful DIY movement." - Revolver "Kauffman succeeds at turning the personal into the universal... proudly sits on my bookshelf alongside Cometbus, Burn Collector, Doris and other classic representations of the "underground scene" as it is." - Punknews.org |
