ISSUE ORIENTED (the podcast)

Short feature recorded on December 28, 2008 at the last of three Bouncing Souls "Home for the Holidays" shows at The Arcade at Convention Hall in Asbury Park, NJ. This show also featured The Gaslight Anthem, Gimmie Drugs and Let Me Run. Oh, it’s a doozy. BRIAN and PETE from THE BOUNCING SOULS talk about optimism, new music for 2009, and more. The interview went well, even if things did seem a little hurried. Matt P. was wearing a Rumbleseat t-shirt, which instantly became a source of embarrassment when it turned out that Chris Wollard of that band (and HOT WATER MUSIC) happened to be at the house. Matt P. instantly became "that guy" - pretty funny. Linda took photos (which you will see soon enough) and everyone was eating lollipops.
Brian and Pete talked to us about the band's 20-year history, their innovative plan for releasing music throughout '09, and much more. Expect a video teaser very soon! the interview will air in its entirety on July 24 as part of episode 34.
